DC system

At the dilution cascade of the DC system, the ejector schematic is used for dilution in the same way as at the VKL system. As air supply at the dilution cascade of the DC system a fan is used. This way compressed air is not necessary.

10, 100, 1,000 or 10,000 are optional dilution factors, each of them with its own aerosol outlet. Model DC 10000 is applicable up to a particle size of < 5 µm.

Because of the freely selectable dilution factors, the DC system is perfectly suited for clean room application, if the VKL system cannot be used due to missing compressed air supply. Similar to the VKL system, the DC system can be combined with random particle counters.

Optionally the DC system can be operated with external compressed air.

DC 10000 is, among others, used at the filter media test rigs according to EN 1822 and ISO 29463 as dilution cascade for DEHS or salt.

 

DC System
