RBG system

Generation of test aerosols from powders, pollen, and monolithic solid materials with mass flows of approx. 10 mg/h – 500 g/h

The RBG series is the classic equipment amongst the dry dispersers for low mass flows. This classic equipment was  invented at the KIT Karlsruhe in the early seventies of the last century. The further development of this classic equipment, which was associated with the founding of Palas® in 1983, led to today's RBG series. As early as 1986, Palas® GmbH was awarded the Innovation Prize of Baden-Württemberg for this further development.

Not least due to the model versions that offer advantages for a variety of applications, the RBG series is employed worldwide for reliable and reproducible generation of test aerosols from powders and dusts. Particle size distributions of the powders in the range of < 100 nm up to 100 µm, both ploydisperse and monodisperse, are possible. Mass flows can be adjusted from a few mg/m3 up to approx. 600 g/m3 . Depending on the model version, the RBG can also disperse against 3 barg overpressure, and can be operated automatically via a computer. The special advantages of the RBG are described in numerous publications.
