AGF system

Liquid nebulizer with binary nozzle and downstream cyclone to separate large droplets

The AGF series features a robust design, easy handling, and a long lifetime.

The AGF series comprises a combination of a binary nozzle with downstream cyclone. The AGF 2.0 is equipped with a cyclone with a cut-off diameter of dCut-off = 2 µm; the AGF 10.0 is equipped with a cyclone with a cut-off diameter of dCut-off = 10 µm.

The maximum particle concentration of the AGF series is approx. 107 particles/cm3. The cyclone is able to calculate the max. particle size, regardless of the liquid.

Large droplets generate high mass flows and may contaminate filters, for example, to such an extent that droplet loading causes the filters to be evaluated as better than they actually are during filter testing.

The AGF series is very successfully used for the generation of test aerosols, in clean room technology applications, to test compressed air filters, and for LDV measurements.
